The Center for Environmental and Water Resources Engineering (CEWRE) is located in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at the University of California, Davis. Initiated in 1965, the CEWRE focuses on solving environmental problems that many agencies and municipalities facing in the state of California. The problems can be practical in nature or fundamentally oriented. The solution presented to these problems may have short or long-term implication on California environment. Request for exploratory and applied studies are channeled to the qualified faculty members and research associates in CEE, or other departments at UC Davis and nine other UC campuses throughout the state.
